| Jude: It was a really really juicy part to play. And funny, because sometimes you're sent scripts which echo the part you last played or a part that you have played. And with this, I didn't quite work out who I was meant to be, ya know? And it's kinda of a compliment when an actor--when you're asked by a director to play something they've never seen you do [Regis says "Absolutely"] it means they're asking you to make a real leap, you know? A real stretch... Regis: And they've got Perdition to see you in this character after all the other people that you've played. Jude: Exactly. And so it was a compliment, it was a real compliment. |

[Diner scene is played] [the clips ends and the audience goes "ooo" and applauds] Regis: It opens tomorrow--gonna be one of the bigs hits of the year. Jude Law, you're terrific, and thank you very much! Jude: Thank you for having me. [shakes hands with Regis and Kelly] Kelly: Thank you, Jude! [audience goes wild] |
