Welcome to the Radical Youth.The words "Radical youth" seem all too familiar. However this group was given this name not because it sounds "young" or is "wild", but because thats who Jesus was. Jesus, a very young man in his time, had to make serious choices on more consequencial things than just how low He should let His trousers hang or what kind of hair dye he should use to look outrageous.(that was just drawing a parallel..btw) Jesus stood out and looked radical, because He acted on a different set of directions: His Father's directions
Today as Christians we have been called sons and daughters, by this very same Father. He has set before us a race to be run, a life to be lived, a mission to be accomplished. You and I get to decide whose "L.I.F.E manual" we abide by, the world's or our Father's. I hope this gives you an idea of what 'radical' is supposed to be.
Christianity in many places has been watered down to a place of compromise to fit the "one world, humanity-our religion" theme. This is the spirit we are being radicals against. There is a price to pay to stand for the truth. This includes being the proverbial 'thorn in the flesh' sometimes or even totally hated. But, we have a greater joy set before us, walking with Jesus and seeing many come to know this great salvation we have in Jesus. In a world going further into darkness are you willing to turn the tide or turn the light back on??? You will stand out, but you have one greater within you leading you every step of the way.
