• Samba...Rumbha...I dunno

An experiment with vocal sounds and something I played on the keyboard. I got the drum loops from this awesome music software I use by Magix. It synchronized the loops with the midi so when I recorded everything onto an output audio track (this clip) it would play in time.
A Little Jazzy Number
I didn't use any software for this one, only my wonderfulCasio WK1350 keyboard that just died a few months ago. Casio is terrible about customer service & repairs from what I've heard, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. So much fun. So many good times. My sister played the improvisation to this one. All we did was record on the keyboard's 6 tracks and then recorded the keyboard produced sound onto a wave file through our computer's really good sound card. It to has problems though (it all started when the damn Intel processor was replaced with an Athlon. It crashes everytime I try to run music software, so I just use my notebook comp right now, which is actually a really amazing package for a used laptop.

"Machine Dream" started out with mechanical sounds, but I forgot to record them into the final track. This is actually a work-(put-on-hold-until-who-knows-when)-in-progress. My ultimate goal is to achieve a mechanical and symphonic sound that is gently directed by a drum looped rhythm.

Amazed by what my computer and software can do. Although the quality is kinda poor, I am just amazed. I just took someone's midi (very well sequenced, I add) and used better instruments. I have some other songs I've done this too. I am still on a quest to find the right trance drums for my future endeavors.

• "Superstition" (Remix)

On a whim, I started out wanting to remix Stevie Wonder's "Living for the City" but then I was looking through a wide spread of files I have in a music folder and came across some kick ass drum loops. I listened to the drum loops and thought maybe these kickass loops would go with Wonder's "Superstition"

Bingo.
