My Views On Being Were
My chance to tell the world what I'm all about, and I hardly know where to begin.  Although I've only been alive on this planet for nineteen years now, I've experienced many odd and amazing things that I'm sure not too many normal everyday people would get the chance to experience.  My views on Life and the world around me are divided into two separate mind states.  Meaning, everything I experience in everyday life I see through the eyes of more than just myself.  A bit confused?  Well then, let me explain.

All of my life, I have had a very strong love for animals.  Big or small, furry or scaly, flyers, swimmers, and land-crawlers, and just about any other type of beastie you can think of.  As a result of this, we've had many pets.  Everything from dogs to cats, to ferrets and rats, some birds here and there, and many countless others.  But the one animal that has had a very strong influence on me is, without a doubt, the wolf.

This magnificent animal plays a very important roll in my life.  In fact, when it comes right down to it, the wolf is as much a part of me as a song is to a bird.  I am whats known as a Lycanthrope, or to put it more simply, a Werewolf.  Now, I know that there are a lot people out there who may not understand what the concept of being Were is, so for anyone reading this right now, I know how easy it might be for you to just dismiss this as sounding ridiculous.  But why not stay awhile?  You might actually learn something new and interesting.

Right, so firstly, lets start off by learning what the actual definition of a Were is.  In folklore a werewolf was a person who could take on the physical appearance of a wolf and then found amusement in wrecking havoc.  The person was usually granted this power by making some sort of deal with the devil, and then of course used this power for doing evil.  Whereas today if you look up the same word, youll most likely just find something like this: a person with the ability to take on the physical form and/or characteristics of a wolf.  This definition seems a bit more appropriate, if not a bit less insulting.  And yet it still doesnt really tell a person much at all.

So, someone might say, you really think that youre physically a wolf?  Well, no.  Obviously Im not physically a wolf.  Do I look like a wolf to you?  I was fairly human the last time I checked, on the outside anyway.  Its on the inside that the wolf comes into play.  The term werewolf simply means part human and part wolf.  Its kind of a hard thing to explain, but I will try my best to make sense throughout these next few pages.
