My dad and I got into a heated debate yesterday about the Hurricanes  athletic department supposedly being “a disgrace to the college system” which came up because he made a comment about how the dolphins’ uniforms looks “just like that Miami University you attended” (personally, I don’t see any resemblance).  I took Chris Hall’s stance and my Dad took Pat Gibson’s.  This man doesn’t know what school I graduated from, but the lucky bastard still won, I still think they are firing the wrong person.

Since I’m linking to Hurricane articles anyway, I have to say that Edge is getting surprisingly literary with a book reviews and an interview: “How to Get Published – GUARANTEED!” (a flufy interview) and “How to Boil Water.” The former was, of course, more interesting to me as a potential MFA student, but both pieces have their merits (however fluffy they may be).
