The adventures of Twiggar
The life, times and seemingly random adventures of a former Ignore writer.
A little bit late

The above parking ticket for Thursday's Open House came conveniently in yesterday's mail. Yes, I know the university can't control when the post office choses to deliver their mail, but their kind gesture was still for naught as I ended up on the far side of the Penn Station garage.

Due to the horrible weather, the campus tour was cancelled. But there were still 30 prospective students in attendance (six for the MFA-creative writing program).  The open house lasted about an hour and a half (including the advisor session) as the two main speakers kept their speeches blessedly short. The did provide some food before the program started though I arrived from my parking adventure too late to actually eat anything.

Also, it has been exactly one month since Ignore updated its Quality Smack blog.  Is it dead or simply hibernating, conserving its energy for a massive update so hugely explosive that whatever remains of the publishing industry will feel the after-effects for generations to come?
