Today was a miserable day, and not because it was cold and rainy for most of the aforementioned period. Today was the day I was SUPPOSED to take my GRE-CAT exam in Harrisburg. Except that their computers said otherwise.
"No-one by that name is scheduled for today, you're probably registered for either another day or center. I'll call our other center... So you guys don't have him either, thank you very much."
So basically, I'm stuck here at your center an hour and a half away from home with no way back for another three hours (even if I could drive all the way back to Shamokin and return to the center as they suggested they'd already be closed for the day). They gave me a customer support number which basically said the same thing they did, but said I might be able to do a "walk-in appointment." I told her I doubted they'd honor that request.
"But, you never asked did you, so how would you know?"
I asked the person at the desk, and was told... "No, its too time consuming for us to do that with the forms." In other words, I am stuck here for the next three hours (watching everyone do DID take the test come out, followed by the people working at the center).
That means - 3 hour round trip + 3 hours for the test I never took = entire day wasted!
