I finally finished the first draft of my trip to Baltimore (1200 words). Now I just have to find someone who can top edit it so it will look presentable and, more importantly, not end up in the same pile as most of the other stories I've submitted.

 I got a call from America Online asking if I "got a chance to try AOL?" I told the woman "I've been a member since you 1995 when you guys took over Compuserve."  "I apologize. We didn't know that, keep enjoying your AOL experience." (also, their member  services  often "forget" I'm a member convienetly popping up every three weeks to remind me that "only valid AOL members may use 'AOL computer check-up.'").  Apparently, America Online views me as being "incompacitated by illness or injury," and sometimes I'm apt to agree with them.
