June 28, 2006 - return to normalcy
11:05 – The hallway light blew out, but the TV is back on. No surprise, they’re still abuzz about the flooding. CNN is in Wilkes-Barre, CBS is in Reading and NBC is in Binghamton, NY – but none of them can correctly pronounce “Sus’-kwa-han’-na.”
I’m in Tharptown. Traffic has quieted down, as have the popping noises outside. The worst appears to be over, but we’ll see in the morning.
