(Picture was from the walk this morning)
7:15 pm – After 12 hours of sun, the streets and alleyways seem to have dried out. However the water crick level hasn’t gone down any, and the TV people keep saying that “the worst may be yet to come.” But, then suddenly, nothing - the screen goes black. The power is still on, but the TV is out – every single channel.
I hear the crick roaring outside, traffic screeching on the highway, and mini explosions from all sides (kids with fireworks). I look out the window. The crick is cresting! The water rushing down the alley behind the building. More loud screeching from the highway, this time shriller and closer together.
