Valentine's Day storm: part 2 - Evening edition

7:30pm – The snow has stopped temporarily so I decide to go outside and play catch up with the sidewalks. Judging by the pristine, curb-high snow on the roads, I’d say this part of town is low on the city’s priority list.

8:45pm – It’s been snowing lightly for the past 20 minutes. I thought I heard a plow come by at some point, but the road looks the same as it did an hour ago.

10:00pm – The snow has changed into freezing rain, which will compact the accumulated snow (albeit under a layer of ice). The precipitation is expected to shift back to snow overnight. About 5-10” of snow is expected out of this storm for the Susquehanna Valley
