Today is the first day of Black History Month, a time to celebrate the history and culture of African-Americans in US\Canada.

Also, tomorrow is Groundhog Day (the quasi-holiday not the movie). The one day of the year when thousands of people descend onto the small Western Pa town of Punxsutawney to see if a "prognosticating" rodent can see its shadow.
