UM president Donna Shalala was Steve's guest last night on The Colbert Report. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of his finest interviews (not that it's his fault mind you) as even his blog admits to "not really nailing her." A fact that other fans apparently noticed as well.

Surprisingly enough the only real mention of the university was in his "guest alert" in which he talks about how UM has surged from 66th to 54th in the college rankings over the past five years. No Momentum, no campus growth just the admission of the long suspected "booster seat" and the sound of cheese curdling.

I'm sure The Hurricane will have a glowing review of the segment in Friday's's edition, and I'll probably post on that then.
