Friday - Drove down from Shamokin, Pa, arrived just in time to get caught in rush hour traffic.
Saturday - Spent the morning on the Duck Tours and the afternoon exploring Inner Harbor and Fells Point (where I fought the woman running the water taxi). Then we had dinner with the family over in Little Italy.
Sunday - Met with the family again for a casual brunch in the hotel restuarant.
Also of note: horse drawn carriage tour of downtown Shamokin narrated by a noted area historian, a tour of the cemetery on Academy Hill with costumed "re-enactors" and special engagements at the railroaders club and firefighters' museum (though I didn't get a chance the see the latter two)
The city is already begun planning for next years festival. Most of the vendors are expected to return as well.
Noon - The kids disappear to get lunch.leaving only my mom and I, a few grandpas with camcorders and a newspaper reporter on the media tour.
1 pm - I exhauseted the remaining pictures from my camera and head back towards the gate. The kids are off to their next exhibit, and mom ducks into the gift shop.
1:35 pm - Go into the cafe and grab a bag of chips and a soda before heading back to the parking lot.
