What is A.V.I.D?
A.V.I.D. stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. It's a program to help students succeed high school and prepare them for college. The students learn all that is necessary for high school and college. In their A.V.I.D. class they are taught to take Cornell style notes, do tutorials, prepare for the state's exit exam and the SAT, and so much more.

Also has tutorials twice a week when tutors come and help you study any subject you are having trouble in. "I am really glad that I decided to join A.V.I.D. It has helped me with my academic career tremendously. I really enjoy doing tutorials on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they helped me alot with the classes that I struggled with. This is my first year in the A.V.I.D. program and I am planning to stay in it for the next 3 years of high school. A.V.I.D. really helped me with the SAT preparations. We go over vocabulary and logic problems. A.V.I.D. really helped me focus on school and set goals for college."
