Honor Guards

basic description:
model flight of the corps
home to the ARU (Advanced Rifle Unit- basically the rifle drill squad)
home to the true Color Guards( the one which carries the national and school colors )
flight that "welcomes" special guests during ceremonies
best known for precision, control, efficiency and ESPECIALLY -UNITY-

quirks:
is privileged to wear the "best" GALA in the corps
almost always practices and drills with a rifle
they say that without the model flight, there is no corps.


training:
of course there would be physical training, but unlike other flights,
the HG specializes in 1. marching and rifle drills, which no other flight
nor group in the corps can match (supposedly). 2. control exercises; to able
to stand in perfect attention under direct sunlight for long periods of time.
And most important, Unity exercises, without this, there is no Honor Guards.

be prepared to:
practice on weekdays
obtain several calluses
lose your saturdays

but once you complete the training:
one will know what true camaraderie and unity
discipline and hard work.
