In Memory of Columbine High School

A Word from the Webmaster

To the Visitors of my site:

It has been a hard choice for me during the last years to decide whether or not I should include the pictures and information about the gunmen, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, on my site. Up until now, I have chosen not to include them on my site as a act of kindness towards those who are visiting this site and may have connections to the shooting. Frankly, it is even hard for myself to look at the pictures. Even so, there has to be a time when one can come to forgiveness, and for me, this is the time.

For those who visit this site, I want to make it clear that I do not post the pictures of the gunmen to honor them in any way. I do not support the actions they took that day, no matter the reasoning behind it. However, as it has been stated, they are victims of another sense: they are victims of society. So, I post their pictures and info to make a statement more than a memorial.

For those who believe I have done wrong to not include Eric and Dylan, I want you to put yourself in the shoes of the victims for a moment. Certainly, if only in memoriam to them, it was not proper up till now to put Eric and Dylan on the same level as those whose lives were taken pointlessly. It is in memoriam to them that I will not post these pictures on my main page. I wish to honor them first, then state the facts.

I hope that the addition of these pictures to my site will aid those who are still sorting through the details of Columbine. May you find what you need here so you can truly understand why it is so important that we "End the Violence."

Sincerely,

Joshua Robinson
