A few notes

on the story:
Sakuragi and Rukawa are already a couple (how they get together is covered in her earlier books). Although Ru seems rather...aggressive at times, this series is still technically HanaRu.

on the translation:
Many male characters here use punk talk. We mean, level 4, the least polite you can get. Sakuragi uses ultra punk talk (almost to the point of absurdity), but Youhei and Rukawa also speak it to varying levels as well. This really can't be translated (as no one on staff speaks jive--and even that would just be a best approximate cultural replacement). We tried our best to convey the feeling.

on do'ahou:
Tensai translates fairly directly to genuis, but do'ahou is a troublesome little word: it's the word ahou (fool, idiot, moron) with a slang modifier on the beginning. Ahou is a bit of a silly word...like "moron;" you wouldn't call an evil overlord ahou, but you would call the dumb guy in your own group ahou. While not certain, we believe the modifier is Tokyo-based slang. It's a rather strong emphasizer, so an uber-literal translation would be "super idiot." This doesn't sound that normal in English, so something like "total moron" would probably fit better. Do'ahou is not a common word, but it is more or less grammatically correct (as correct as slang gets), and doesn't sound that stupid in the Japanese--although it loses a bit of it's sting when it's said repeatedly.
