Opportunity's Mist
Close those eyes and listen for this
Does describe Opportunity’s mist.
Of life-like quality choices we make,
Sometimes we forget it is we who are forsake.
Dancing in the dark, pointing out all corners
‘We’re blind!’ we shout to wide-eyed conformers.
But I enjoy it, the lure of unknown,
As it’s belief and trust which I condone.
Switch off no dark, enlighten your mind,
Fight through fog, fearless, do tasks assigned;
Open your eyes, search for bliss,
Rue the day you had opportunities missed.
