Drowned
Always sinking slower he breathes
Deeper allowing his freed feet
Time to move and rest and move
Again, touching nil in extremes.
Obscured light frequently disintegrates
Among the cloudless water, forever
Darkening its depths within its contents,
Forever pulling the needless within.
Age-old rocks survived this once,
Never ceasing to grind their weathered
Faces once more in adversaries paths,
Endlessly shaping strong futures of life.
Heavier body, lighter lungs, cannot
Sustain his powerful struggle against
The powerless waters of infamy;
Winds float silently by.
