Dreams
The surrounds of visions coloured by bright white
Are only conceived in darkest night.
In black and white, all grey in between,
I wonder Where and to Whom I owe this screen.
Screaming sounds, scratching the free air
Which is ours no more. How will we fare
Together? They hope separate; we say unite.
I will not lay down this fight.
Taste the person next to you; taste their sound and smell:
Take it all in, live, survive and stay out of ghastly hell.
Follow orders  that is how they control you;
Just remember that the animals rule the zoo.
Turn left; stare ahead; drop jaw; breathe:
Notice not soul, but life, which they thieve.
Take my heart! you say  they cannot take your love;
Concord cannot be broken by force; its far too tough.
The gates raised with war, now raised with peace,
Begin the fuelling for a mighty tasting feast.
Suns cause light, cause wake, cause life;
All colour in my waking mind leaves no more strife.
