Beach-Eyes
At once this night was I felled
By those which cripple strongest
Men; deep and unrelenting they
Pierced furthest than ever before.
Moonlit shores reflected into
Darkest places where soon
I wish to be; shamefully fear
Shivers its madness coldly.
Goosebumps again remind me of
My once innocent state, not
Knowing how or why they
Glisten so incumbent.
The water sings in trepidation,
Wave after crashing wave
Cover our feet in the cold
Sensations, freezing all our nerves.
