There are numerous differences that hamper unity among the Asians and the Asian diaspora. Some of  the
potentially divisive factors include language, dress, boundary disputes, wars, family life, ideologies,
religion, values, beliefs, class, caste, ethnicity, and music.
Hopefully, this message will be translated into some of the many languages and dialects spoken and
circulated to the Asians and their diaspora. It is important for this message of peace to reach
neighbourhoods, non-governmental organisations, communities, religious  and political leaders.
Establishing organisations for Asian unity and promoting peace through forums and festivals  are
initial steps in removing the barriers and hostilities that have prevented harmonious living among millions
of human beings on the Asian continent.
The Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Malaysians, Sri Lankans, Filipinos, Indonesians, Burmese, Taiwanese,
Singporeans, East Indians and other Asians are invited to organise interested persons desirous of promoting
peace and understanding on the Asian continent. This is applicable to the Asian diaspora and their
children who are also invited to begin a network of organisations and utilize today’s technology to forge
stronger ties of friendship and tolerance among themselves. This movement must be able to embrace the
grassroots population, the rich and the middle-class.

Achieving Asian unity seems to be  one of the phases before there can be genuine co-operation with other
races and nationalities. On the Asian continent  there is  a  need  for  a  collective  effort to create a
better world.
