| What exactly is the purpose/history of this site? |
| Well, It was origionally supposed to be part of a "circle of Friends" (I laugh at how stupid it was) that would serve as a link between 2 other sites. That was a miserable failure. Now it is a portal for me to the world. I put hours in just for the world to see my creation. Also, I want to show my parents how useful D.S.L. can be. I think that this site has improved by leaps and bounds in the past few months. And so, we arrive at today and I must say how effort is so fruitful. As the disclaimer says, this site is just a personal hobby for me and a way for my friends to keep in touch. I think that this site is one of those things that just can't be explained. We have a Human need and desire to build something great to show our abilities. We see examples of this every day in the Former W.T.C.(God rest their souls), the eiffel tower, the three gorges dam, and other momuments. I think that I am building a momument for my own dreams; In cyberspace. |
