Metallica--Metallica (The Black Album)
Weezer--Weezer (The Blue Album)
This is Weezer's first, and, in my opinion, best album. Most everyone has heard "Buddy Holly", "Undone: The Sweater Song", and "Say it Ain't So". Those are all great songs and make the album good, but what makes it great is the absence of bad songs, every song is worth listening to, from "My Name is Jonas" to "Only in Dreams". My personal favorite is the anthemic "In the Garage" and some like the change of pace found in "Surfwax America". All in all it is a very good album, one of the best of the 90s, that is definitely worth checking out.
J.T.'s Choice
Roxanne's Choice
Even from the beginning one can tell this is a great album, starting off with "Enter Sandman". This is followed up by my favorite song from the album "Sad But True", and the album also contains "The Unforgiven" and the ballad "Nothing Else Matters". I enjoy how much of this album energizes me because of the powerful beats and guitar riffs. Although I don't enjoy every song on the album, I like most of it and the good songs more than make up for not-so-good songs.
