Atrovent
Synthetic quarternary anticholinergic bronchodilator which inhibits interaction of acetylcholine at receptor sites on the bronchial smooth muscle, resulting in decreased cGMP and bronchodilation
Indications:
Varies among EMS systems.  COPD.  Asthma.  Allergic Reaction. 
Common Side Effects: 
Nausea, vomiting, cramps, anxiety, dizziness, headache, cough, symptom worsening.
Potentially Lethal Side Effects:
Bronchospasm.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug or components, atropine, soya lecinthin.
Adult dosing*:
All indications:
Neb 1 unit dose (0.5mg), mixed with Albuterol when administered.
Pediatric dosing*:
All indications:
Neb 1 unit dose (0.5mg), mixed with Albuterol when administered.
