| The 1998 Duluth Inline Marathon almost didn't happen. The year before I competed and did really well, actually too well and I was disqualified? I protested but they made an executive decision which stood. I did get my prizes but no 1st place medal. At the last minute I decided to drive up to Duluth and enter. I had the same game plan, just go as fast as I can and I did. It ended up being a course record for my category and age class. |
