| I wish I had more shots of skiing but in the cold it's difficult to get them or somone who is decent with a camera. This was shot from Scott Carlson's camera and wish we got some more of these crazy things we did out there! This was a transfer from one hill to another but there were a bunch of gates with rope blocking the way so I had to jump them! The gates blocking the hill were probably 8' high and I flew about 75' |
| This is another shot from Bridger Bowl and this was a very difficult rock jump due to the entry to the rock and where to land. On this shot I hit the trees to my right with my right arm and shoulder. That was the softest snow and if you went off straight it was totally hardpacked and doubt if my legs would have survived that landing. | This is a nice way to get into Mountain bike racing, racing on ice when it is 10 below zero!! Actually it was a lot of fun and as you can see from the pic below I was crankin' on the berm when I didn't have to. The crowd started to chant "Gnarly Man" and every lap I rode as high as I could on the berm to keep them entertained in the bitter cold. I actually overheated and got severe cramps in my legs from the heat and dehydration that I had to bail. It was an awesome experience and racing on ice isn't that bad! |
