| Family John is married to actress Kelly Preston and has two children, Jett and Ella Bleu. Jett was born on April 13, 1992. Ella was born on April 3, 2000. Sadly, both John's parents have passed away. His mom, Helen died of cancer in 1979. His Father, Salvatore died in 1995. He has two brothers, Salvatore Jr, and Joey. Three sisters, Ann, Ellen and Margaret. |
| Life John grew up in New Jersey loving two things, entertaining and flying. He would entertain his family by putting on plays and acting out scenes from movies or television shows. John would also save up his money to take round trip flights just to fly. When John was 16, he decided to drop out of highschool to pursue his acting career. He got his big break when he landed the part of Vinnie Barbarino in the hit series "Welcome Back, Kotter." John was the most liked character, and all the girls went crazy for his dumbwitted adorable character. He was offered many roles such as Grease and Saturday Night Fever, which were box office hits. He was also nomincated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of Tony Manero. John had a few rough spots in his career, some not so successful films. But he did meet his future wife while filming "The Experts." Then, in 1994, he made a huge comeback with Pulp Fiction. He is now a $20 million dollar actor and one of the most popular actors today. He is also a very talented singer, dancer and pilot. He is currently the "Ambassador at Large" for Qantas Airlines. Congrats John!!!! |
