OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Here at Jesus Tabernacle of Deliverance Ministries we believe that the heartbeat of ministry is service to the people we meet.  Below you will find listed the services we currently provide in order to assist individuals and families in need.

Teen Queens & Kings Program - This program was initiated in 1998 to combat negative peer pressure and teen pregnancy, provide life skills training, mentoring programs, develop positive self esteem, encourage high school completion and the pursuance of higher education.
Throughout the year working mentoring relationships are maintained between the youth and their assigned mentor.  Assistance is provided in the areas of tutoring, personal development, enhancement and growth, life skills training, conflict resolution, leadership development, and peer based support groups.  At the end of the program a pageant is held.   Each participant is awarded a certificate of appreciation for their participation.  The youth that has displayed the most exemplary performance is awarded a trophy.

Emergency Food PantryMany individuals take the necessity of have enough food for themselves and family for granted and often forget that there are many others out there who go to bed hungry every night.  We are pleased to announce that with the newly formed relationship between Jesus Tabernacle of Deliverance and Forgotten Harvest we have been able to successfully reach more individuals and families (mostly single parents with children) than we have in the past. Our food pantry operates on Thursdays between the hours of 12:00 Noon until      3:00 P.M.  A big hearty thank you goes out to Forgotten Harvest for their assisting us to make sure that noone in our service area has to go to bed hungry.

Prison Ministry - Jesus Tabernacle of Deliverance Ministries recognized the need to reach out to incarcerated individuals in a spirit of love and to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ, hope, encouragement and friendship to them.  To this end we established our prison ministry.  Once a month we go to a correctional facility for the purpose of providing church service, prayer and encouragement to an otherwise forgotten crowd.  We have participated in and (plan to do so in the future) the Angel Cheer Program where we purchase toys and outfits from inmates to their children during the Christmas season in order to let the inmates and their minor children know that they are not forgotten

Women's Mentoring Program - This program was initiated when we noticed a rise in the number of single mothers who were struggling to make a decent and affordable living for their children.  Under this program we provide life skills training, encourage the mothers to obtain their G.E.D., pursue higher education goals and become economically stable.
We also realized that the stress and pressure of everyday life can become overwhelming for these single parents and there was a definite need to provide opportunities for these single mother to have recreational programs and establish support groups for the times when they are feeling overwhelmed.  In order to achieve this goal we provide recreational opportunities, support group meetings and life enrichment workshops for single mothers with children.  This program is also opened to women who are not mothers.

Men Mentoring Program This program was initiated when we noticed a rise in the number of fathers who were labeled as deadbeat fathers.  We realized that not all of these men are really comfortable with not having the opportunity to spend time with their children.  To this end we decided to incorporate our male mentoring program.  Under this program we provide life skills training, encourage the fathers to obtain their G.E.D., pursue higher education, become economically stable, become familiear with noncustodial parental rights, provide both physical and material support for their children, establish ongoing relationships with their offspirng and provide recreation opportunities, male mentors and support groups for these fathers.   This program is also opened to men who are not fathers.
In increasing our services to meet the needs of all people everywhere, we need your help and welcome donations of all sizes large or small.  Jesus Tabernacle of Deliverance Ministries is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization.  All donations and contributions are tax deductible.
