~*~ JT and Colleen's Story ~*~
JT Hellstrom was kind of a bad guy when he first arrived on the show. He hosted wild parties with alcohol and drugs and was experienced with many girls. He broke some hearts and never truly cared about anyone. Little did he know then, something would happen that would changed that.
Colleen Carlton was a good student and talented dancer while she lived in New York City with her step dad, Steve and her mom, Traci. After Traci discovered Steve had an affair, she took off to Genoa City with Colleen. Colleen was resentful of Steve and wanted her real father, Brad Carlton to take his place, only Brad had married Traci's sister, Ashley. Brad was thrilled to have Colleen in his life again, but wasn't willing to make a family with Traci again. Traci forgave Steve, so she took Colleen back with her to New York. Colleen wasn't happy there and began hanging out with the wrong crowd. She was caught smoking marijuana at school and got expelled. Her grandfather, John decided to let her move back to Genoa City at his house was the solution. Colleen began school and was superviseed at home. Colleen soon started smoking pot after a drug dealer sold her some. When her step sister, Abby choked on a button, Colleen saved her life. She realized Abby would have died if she would have been stoned so she gave up smoking. JT found out that she was smoking pot, and Colleen began crying saying she stopped and he wouldn't tell anyone.
Colleen met JT while working with the Glow by Jabot team and they became good friends. With his help, Colleen did her best to stay out of trouble. When JT hears her family isn't attending her dance recital, JT surprises Colleen by showing up and taping it. When JT needed a tutor, Colleen, who had developed a crush on him, offered to help. During their study sessions, Colleen begans expressing her feelings about life and heartache and JT begins to see her in a different light, no longer a kid. Colleen then surprises him by kissing him. Colleen's tutoring helped him get an A, so he gave her a GCU sweatshirt and they went to a poetry reading together as well as sharing a dance.
When Colleen gets tickets to JT's favorite band, he decides to go to the concert with her. Colleen lies to Jill saying she's going with her friend, Caitlyn. After the concert, JT and Colleen look into the stars and talk about the future, but Jill finds them and Colleen confesses the truth to John, who grounds her. Colleen sneaks out and tells him she confessed to her grandfather and when he claims their just friends, she asks him if thats true and kisses him.
John tells JT to stay away from Colleen, and JT decides its for Colleen's own good so he tells her they shouldn't hang out anymore. JT can't stop thinking about Colleen but begins dating anyway. Mac tells Colleen about it but she doesn't believe it until she sees it. JT sees Colleen run off in tears and follows her. He tells her it isn't what she thinks. They share memories of their summer together. Colleen professes her love to JT, who admits he does like her, but they can't be together because everyone is against them. They share an intimate hug and a passionate kiss.
Colleen receives news that her mother is going to take her back to New York. Colleen wants to run away with JT, but he disagrees. She stays with Brittany and Raul for a few days and her family discovers she's missing. JT and Colleen go to the park where he confesses that she messes with his head and as they share a deep kiss, they are intruded by officers who charge JT with statuary rape. Her mom tells her she's coming back to New York, but Colleen refuses. Traci blackmails JT, if he tells Colleen to go back to New York, she'll drop the charges. Feeling that Colleen is better off without him, he breaks her heart by telling her he never liked her and tells her to go to New York. Colleen decides she wants to leave, but while in the airport, JT shows up, with a change of heart. They fall into each others arms and he apologizes. They go to Brad's, and Traci and Brad decide to let Colleen stay if JT stays away from Colleen for two weeks and he agrees. On Colleen's birthday however, he wanted to give her a birthday present. So JT sang "When You Say Nothing At All" to her and she thanks him with a hug and a kiss. On Valentines Day, JT wasn't allowed to attend Colleen's Valentines Day Dance. But he snuck on stage and sung their song. Afterward, Colleen ran into his arms and they kissed.
Colleen and JT are deeply in love and are allowed to see each other on the sly. They love is still blooming very strong. But JT made a horrible mistake when he consoled a depressed Anita Hodges, Brittany's mom, and slepted with her. JT became overwhelmed with guilt because he loves Colleen so much. JT gives Colleen a locket and tells her he loves her for the very first time. But Colleen tells him she saw him kissing Anita. JT admits that he slept with her and tries to explain, but Colleen can't forgive him and breaks up with him.
JT and Colleen were both heartbroken over not being together. They couldn't stop thinking about each other. After talking with Brittany, Colleen realizes that JT must have really cared about her, so she runs to find him. But she sees him with another girl and misinterprets it and decides that JT hasn't changed and she's never going to forgive him, despite how much she still loves him. But after talking to JT, she realizes she misunderstood it. She told JT she was willing to be friends, so he took her on a driving lesson. But she the car got stuck in the ditch in the middle of nowhere. So JT and Colleen stayed the night at an abandoned house. They continued being just friends, until one day they both declared their love for each other and reunited.
When Colleen's friend, Lily was dating Kevin, a guy Colleen and JT knew was bad news so they interupted what was going to be their first sexual encounter. Kevin took revenge by trashing their loft and threatening Colleen and pushing her down at the park. Luckily JT rescued Colleen from Kevin. When Lily and Kevin did have sex and Lily skipped school to be with him, Colleen and Sierra told her parents so Neil threatened to get Kevin arrested. Kevin wanted revenge on Colleen so he set her up so she would go to Gina's. He locked her in a walk in refridgerator while he set the place on fire. JT and Brad worked together to find Colleen. Then JT sneaked into the building and rescued Colleen. JT went to Kevin and beated him up and was arrested for assault.
Colleen wanted to buy JT a hard cover for his guitar but it was too expensive so she charged it with a credit card. JT wanted to buy Colleen a birthstone penant but it was too expensive so he sold his guitar. Sierra found out so she talked the store owner into showing up at JT's as Santa to return the guitar.
Colleen arranged JT to sing at Crimson Lights on Valentines Day. Shiloh, a record executive was there and offered JT a contract. JT was relunctant, but Colleen pushed him to be a big star. JT went to LA to make a music video, leaving Colleen behind. But Colleen showed up to surprise him and overheard JT saying he was single. Heartbroken, Colleen returned to Genoa City and JT followed her, missing his record release party. Even though JT explained it, Colleen decided to let JT go so he could have a career. Colleen decided to move back to New York to live with her mother and JT lost her music career.
While Colleen was away, he reverted to his playboy ways. Colleen surprised him by showing up on Christmas Eve and ended up getting back together. But they decided to go their separate ways so Colleen went back to New York.
At about the same time Colleen returned home, Mac found herself she was pregnant. She didn't tell JT and she miscarried. JT was livid so he had a one night stand with Victoria. Mac and JT broke up and she left town. JT and Colleen started spending a lot of time together and it became clear that their were still deep feelings between them so they got back together. Colleen moved into JT's loft. Colleen sensed that JT was keeping something from her, so she broke into the files on JT's computer and discovered he had been investigating her father. JT was furious at her for snooping while Colleen was furious he was investigating her dad. JT told her he was doing it for her and Colleen forgave him for not telling her.
JT and Colleen made love for the first time as she tried to forget about her grandfather, John's death. Later, Colleen became her art history professor, Corbel's research assistant and developed feelings for him. While they were stuck in a ice storm, they made love. Colleen felt so guilty so she tried to break up wtih JT. However, JT wouldn't let her because Colleen didn't tell her about Corbel. Colleen quit as Corbel's RA. But JT found out Colleen cheated on her, so he ended things.
Later, Colleen started seeing Korbel in private so he wouldn't get in trouble with the college. Her dad forbid her to see Korbel, but Colleen wouldn't listen so she moved out and Brad cut her funding. After Korbel wasn't Colleen's teacher anymore, they became a couple in the open. While, JT fell in love with Victoria and they got married.
JT and Colleen may be with different people now but they haven't forgotton how they once felt about each other. Will they ever reunite? Stay tuned.
