After JT's lips had touched hers, something clicked deep inside of her. It was like all this confusion she had been feeling had vanished into thin air. She just let herself go and feel things deep inside of her. As she was passionately kissing JT, all these memory flashes started coming out...
JT: I never meant to hurt you, Colleen. I swear. I just couldn't let you stay in Juvie, messing up your life even more.
Colleen: What are you saying? You didn't want me to go to New York?
JT: No, I don't want you going anywhere.
Colleen: You don't understand. We have to keep seeing each other.
JT: Why?
Colleen: Because I love you, JT. I love you.
JT: Open your gift. Maybe it will make you feel better.
Colleen: A locket?
JT: Yeah, I didn't have time to put a picture of us in it yet.
Colleen: It's beautiful.
JT: It kind of matches that bracelet I got for you.
Colleen: Why are you doing this?
JT:You have to ask? Because I love you, Colleen.
Many more flashes came zooming into Colleen's head. She quickly pulled away from their kissed and starred at him. She smiled. She remembered everything. She remembers everything that happened the past year.
"What? What is it, Colleen? What's wrong?"JT asks.
Colleen smiled again. He seems so concerned about me. He loves me so much, she thought. Car accident or not. How could she forget this guy?
"I remembered, JT! I remember." I said emotionally.
"Do you remember us? What do you remember?" JT asked.
"Everything. I remember completely everything that ever happened in my life. But most of all, I remember how much you love me and how much I love you." Colleen says happily.
"Oh my god. I can't believe this! You remember!" JT yelled.
We started laughing and screaming.
"I remember!"I screamed.
We laughed again as tears started running down our cheeks. JT threw me into his arms and passionately kissed me again. Then he into his arms as we sat back down on the bench.
"JT. You know, you never gave up on me. You kept on pushing and pushing for me to remember everything. You were so hurt when I couldn't remember you. It broke my heart to hurt you like that."
"But you didn't even remember me." Jt pointed out.
"That's true. But I could tell so easily how much you love me. Anyone can see how much we love each other. I'm sorry that I was so reluctant to just let go and feel the love you have for me... oh my god. I could have went out with someone else."
"Colleen...." JT started.
"No, JT. That guy, Brian was interested in me and it was so nice to meet someone without any expectations. If I wouldn't have remembered you..."
"Colleen. Don't be silly. Even if you would have went on a date with the guy, it would have made me really hurt and jealous, but your date wouldn't have meant anything to you. Because I know your heart is already taken. Even without your memory, you wouldn't have been able to give your heart away again."
"How can you be so sure?" I said.
"Because I have faith in our love and so do you."JT says.
"Your right. I'm just so so upset that I couldn't remember you."
"It wasn't your fault."
"I know that. I love you so much, JT."
"I love you too."
"I'm going to go tell my dad. Do you want to meet at the coffeehouse in a couple of hours?" I asked.
"Sure. See you then." JT says. Then I kissed him and quickly lefted to my dad's.
