Well, got going again around 7:45 and went back down into the Black Hills region and got some pictures of the wildlife (hey they're furry tractors!). But use caution around them. Had to do a little off roading to get there. The car is a mess right now. Got some good miscelaneous shots too (Pic1, Pic2). From there we stayed in the area and made our way to The Needles, not sure what they are really called, but that works for me. Got some good panoramic shots of the area (Pic1, Pic2). There was a moutain tunnel we had to go through as well which gave another good panoramic shot.
From there we headed over to the Crazy Horse monument they are building. Got a full shot and a panoramic too.It will be interesting how the place looks when they are done. That was it for SD, we then made our way to the Devils Tower in Wyoming. Got a lot of good shots. I actually hiked to the base of the tower which was a hell of a workout. Especially if you go straight up and don't stay on the trail. It made for a great view from the top. Once again, they had to warn us about wildlife. Got one last miscellaneous picture that turned out good. On to Wyoming and Yellowstone.....
