To start, the Midwest is boring as heck. Close your eyes and fall asleep in Ohio and 6 hours later, you might as well still be in Ohio. Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin all look the same, boring.
Put in a 12 hour day today. Got in the car at 10:30 this morning, a little late, but you'll have that. Drove over 660 miles. Finally called it a day here in La Crosse, Wisconsin. It's right on the border of the of WI and MN. The only stop today along this boring stretch of highway was South Bend, IN. Walked around Notre Dame for about an hour. Got to see the picutre of Jesus that was used in the movie Rudy. Also got some shots of the Golden Dome and the entire Main Building. Also stopped by the Grotto of Something Or Other.Don't remember what the full name is, but its purpose is for prayer.
Went through Chicago, which was cool. Took this shot of the sunset while driving. Sorry for the spots, that's just dirt on the windshield. Hope everyone is doing well. Tomorrow is going to be another long day, Minnesota looks a little boring. Give me call, should have my phone on me all day.
