The 2003 Youth Football League has the Arlington Sharks winning the first two playoff games. Tuesday's game was a thriller with the Sharks scoring the tying touchdown with 2 seconds left. The extra point clinched the game for the Sharks.

The Arlington Sharks took the Northern Virginia Championship with a decisive victory over Alexandria.
The Sharks were up 21-0 in the first quarter. Their offense spent most of the day on the field. The defense took Alexandria's offense out of the game early and by halftime it was apparent Arlington would be the champs. The final score was 42 to 18.
