"Nothing is written in stone". Well then, why is there a belief in fate... in destiny? Consider that there is a Greater Being, other than God, someone for everyone (a.k.a. Guardian Angel). This person writes your set out life on this "stone?". To quicken the pace they leave blanks for you to fill in as you follow this worked out and set plan for yourself. As you catch up there is a decision that must be made. Do you slow down your pace to let them continue to write your life for you or do you stay at their pace and help fill in that so called life? The determined individual will work harder to write their own choices out in "stone". But then where is the fate part? The part that says... "I've chosen this, now what does the world have instore for me?" That's kinda like saying you have more than one Greater Being and they all will write you a "stone". You gotta read them all and choose and not regret your "stone".
