| Love. Now there's a concept. How do you define that? Sure the dictionary always seems to have the answers, but love... that's a word taht should have never been put in the dictionary. Love \Lev\ n. 1: stong affection 2: warm attachment < ~of the sea> 3: attraction based on sexual desire 4: a beloved person 5: unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for others 6: a score of zero in tennis. see not even the dictionary really knows what love is. Back to square one. Love. vb. loved; lov-ing 1: cherish 2: to feel passion, devotion, or the tenderness for 3: caress 4: to take pleasure in (~ s to play bridge) At 18 and 10/12 months old I know i dont know what love is. For me ~ it puts me to sleep. Sure I like to hear about others stories, watch the movies, but I dont want to be in love. I like the game it provides but saying "I love you" should never turn into a habit. It should be volunteered, not taken for or worked off like a job. ~ July 2001 |
