Burroughs, Warren Zevon, Pete Townshend, Ian Anderson & Tom Wolfe. And if i could think of any other authors or musicians that have influenced me, i'd name them too. But i can't right now, so these 8 will do.
Anyway, i call these little nuggets Waitsisms. I call them that because the first few i wrote reminded me of stories you'd hear in a Tom Waits song. They're basically short little bios, or unfinished story lines that i started collecting when i was getting back into writing THE Book. I've decided to present some of them here, cos who knows if THE Book will ever get published... or even finished, for that matter. We'll see, junior... we'll see.
