TERRY's KID
This edition is a look at my band, the incomparable, the unstoppable, the hard - Toledo's own TERRY's KID. Having three different people that sometimes write lyrics can be a pain sometimes, but occasionally some magic is hit. It's usually when we go in a closet & write by ourselves. So you heard it here first, TERRY's KID is coming out of the closet.

No S
Crash
Words by: Cory Bogner, Keith Krygielski & Jeremiah Kanary
Performed by: TERRY's KID on the album No S (2000)
Whiskey in hand I grab the wheel Cigarette burns I will not feel Flesh and blood and glass and steel I get off on death behind the wheel Mothers, your kids don't matter to me All set off by the turn of a key Tell them the street's no place to be Teach those fucking kids to fear me The pain, the screams, more's all I need Step in line, who's next to bleed You will die if I feel the need Get on your knees, get on your knees Road flying by at the speed of sound Rubber on tar fucking up the ground Eyes closing shut, head spinning round Mama's lost boy will never be found Crash... burn... bleed... Look out... Daddy's come home You can never hold me down Don't bother to look around I'm all over this fucking town No matter what, I'll cut you down Moon bleeds down and gives me sight Streelamp hums with eager fright Paradise by the dashboard light Fuck people, this is Devil's Night Crash... burn... bleed... Look out... Daddy's come home
This was truly a group effort, so much so i can't really remember who wrote what. Jeremiah wanted a song about a guy driving drunk, so we all three came up with verses, then we picked the best ones & threw them all together.

Big Jere
Raping The Willing
Words by: Jeremiah Kanary
Performed by: TERRY's KID - no official release
Raping the willing {2X} We listen to the radio and do all its bidding Raping the willing... tonight Socially maladjusted, sexually retarded Whats the password for the party, its "Oops I farted" Where is the Lord, hes got the green for these beers If we dont pay this tab we better get outta here Raping the willing {2X} Were reaching into your pockets and making a killing Raping the willing... tonight Running down the Wasteland, pissing in a gas can Shit on a fat man, wearing a Gas Mask I found the devil puking in the restroom All that vomit, I saw my own doom Raping the willing {2X} We ate your humble pie and it was filling Raping the willing... tonight This is the bridge of the song My cock is four feet long Whats this, your anus is six feet deep You didnt tell me you been raped before
This is a song that Jeremiah wrote post "No S", but musically it ended up being (way) too similar to Weird Al Yankovic's Dare To Be Stupid. Lyrically speaking, this isn't one of Jere's best works either, but it is damn funny. But trust me, this isn't a good example of why Jeremiah writes most of our songs - he's an amazinly creative writer.

Bogs

Poorman's Passion Play
Words by: Cory Bogner
Performed by: TERRY's KID - no official release
The sins that the Father passed on to the Son Spread out on the bed that religion has undone I know how to live in the glory of the Lord But Ive never been able to live with His sword Live with my demons, Ill show you how Live with my Father, Hell teach you to bow Now, Id be lying to say the Light appeals to me But the Dark has nothing that this soul will need Ive never seen a vision or learned a thing That will save or damn my soul again Heaven and Hell, the eternal rub Good and Bad, Ive no needs below or above Where is you false God now Where is mine Where is your miracle now Why is it so hard to find Where is your false God now Why not try mine Where is your true love now Why are you so blind There are Sinners and Saints, yet all of them feel Are you any better to follow the Churchs appeals The pedestals you build your Gods have destroyed The Church is stained from all they employ Use your Church and its organized grime Use your Religion to cover its crimes Now, God and the Devil, neither I know Neither Ive seen, expect neither to show I have nothing against those with faith Except those hiding behind the second face Do you believe in One who loves all Do you believe in Satans great fall Where is you false God now Where is mine Where is your miracle now Why is it so hard to find Where is your false God now Why not try mine Where is your true love now Why are you so blind The sins that the Father passed on to the Son Spread out on the bed that religion has undone I know how to live in the glory of the Lord But Ive never been able to live with His sword Live with my demons, Ill show you how Live with my Father, Hell teach you to bow Where is you false God now Where is mine Where is your miracle now Why is it so hard to find Where is your false God now Why not try mine Where is your true love now Why are you so blind
Can i just say that this song is a fucking masterpiece? No? Okay. Anyway, this is, in my opinion, the best song i've written for the KID. I wrote this at a time that i was listening to a lot of early Jethro Tull, stuff like Aqualung and (go figure) A Passion Play. Like that stuff, it's a jab at the corruption of organized religion.

Krygy
The Beggar's Ride
Words by: Keith Krygielski & Jeremiah Kanary
Performed by: TERRY's KID on the album No S (2000)
No beg, no ride This bus is free The countryside Is just out of reach No harm, no foul It's up to you Get on your knees And pray to you know who Pat likes to smoke pot and sleep on the side Frank loves his SEGA and both are on The Beggar's Ride No pay all day The driver screams The passengers Are a motley scene Now as it was So shall it be With some groveling This ride is free Roger's not his name because he likes to hide Brad teaches at school and goes home on The Beggar's Ride Pat likes to smoke pot and sleep on the side Frank loves his SEGA and both are on the beggar Roger's not his name because he likes to hide Brad teaches at school and all are on The Beggar's Ride
This song was Keith's baby - but i think the lyric songwriting credit given to Keith by Jeremiah is kinda like Pete Townshend giving Roger Daltrey co-writing credit on Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere. The chorus lines are shots at Keith's old band, Beggar's Ride.
