How I worked on "Triangle"!

On the dates of August 17-26, 1998, I had the opportunity to work on location with "The X-Files" during the filming of the 6th season episode called "Triangle" at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California!!! Here's my story:

After finishing an assignment at another post, I got a call from my security supervisor telling me I was going to be working on the set of the X-Files.  Apparently they needed extra security guards for the shoot there.  So, knowing me, and my aspirations to work in the film/tv industry, my supervisor knew that I wouldn't turn it down.  So, the next day I was off to work on my favorite TV show of all time... THE X-FILES!
The days were long and tiring.  I had to work 12 hour shifts everyday, sometimes I even ended up working 14 to 16 hour days.  Of course I didn't mind the extra hours because I just felt so lucky to be there in the first place.  I must say that the wonderful production company of 1013 helped me to endure those hours so well.  What a great crew they have!  They were definitely one of the friendliest crews I've ever worked with.
As a security guard, my job involved things like watching equipment, keeping out trespassers, safety, and of course, seeing to the personal safety of the stars.  At one point (probably because I was the only woman) I was even asked to look after Gillian Anderson, which I was honored to do.  I enjoyed that a lot, but it was a tough job...  I had to keep away many fans that wanted pictures and autographs.  I just felt bad for them because I knew how they felt.  I know I probably would have asked for an autograph if I was their position too.
As far as David Duchovny goes, I didn't have to guard him personally, but I did guard his and Gillian Anderson's and other's trailers quite often.  The times I did see him though, which was a lot, he was really friendly to everyone.
In my position, I had a chance to at least meet and talk to a lot of the regular cast members.  The most memorable conversations that I had took place with Chris Carter and Chris Owens.  Both of them were very friendly.  I also either met or at least spoke to William B. Davis, Mitch Pileggi, and The Lone Gunmen among other guest stars.
When the shoot was officially wrapped, I was sad.  I had made a lot of friends on the crew, and I knew I'd miss them.  But I was still very happy to have had the opportunity.  And I'll never forget that long week, the time when my dream came true... The time that I worked on my favorite TV show!

I tried to make this short, so, if you wanna hear more details, let me know...
