Avon 3-Day Walk
One morning as I was riding the subway to work I looked up and saw an advertisement for the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day. Whether it was an epiphany, a light bulb, or just inspiration, I knew this was something I needed to be a part of. As soon as I got to work I got on the web and started researching.

I am glad to say that I went with that feeling.  I, along with approximately 2,000 other walkers, walked from Bear Mountain to Manhattan October 13, 2000, to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Over the course of 3 days I walked 60 miles. It was a long haul, but it wass for such a worthwhile cause. And each step that I took and each dollar that I raised means someone else is given a chance to survive. This is how I bacame walker 4210N.
