Things that Lurk
Have you ever heard a sound behind your bivvy at night that just couldn't be human? Too scared too look behind your bivvy? Was it a mate mucking around... or was it "a thing that lurks"? Scientists are on the verge of figuring out the form that these "things that lurk" take. They have narrowed it down to three suspects... But be warned they are not pretty:

These pictures are taken from unconfirmed sources and scientists have not distinguished the true "thing that lurks". If the first picture is the thing that lurks then this would explain why you wake up in the mornings after a night session without catching, scientists have devised a theory that these "things" abduct unsuspecting carp anglers at night and probe them, to see what makes them tick and why they have the chronic disease "carp fever". The Carp angler thus remembers nothing about the screaming take from that mystical 40lb common he had at 2:30am in the morning because he was being probed in the "things" saucer shaped space craft. Hopefully one day we will be safe from these "things that lurk" but for the time being if you here a sound coming from the back of your bivvy at night that doesn't sound human, just stay put, don't investigate and think happy thoughts.
