This is the section of the site that allows me and you, to air our views on Carp fishing and anything Carp fishing related. I will also make this page a bit more humorous than the rest of the site, and if you have any funny Carp fishing paraphernalia please e-mail it to me at [email protected] and you could see it here!
One last thing I will say about this page is that it's not meant to offend anyone, but if it does offend you, please don't take it to heart, it's just a bit of fun. It is not meant to upset anyone.
When i was sitting by the lake side this week-end reading the Febuary Crafty Carper magasine, it finally hit me, we are definitly giving these Carp too much credit, this point was illustrated through a piece talking about the new "Gardener Flavoured PVA Bag's", flippin' crazy in my opinion!
Those of you who keep in touch with the Carp angling press will have heard about Rhino Pop-Ups, the next stage up from the boilie. But I can't help but think that Kevin Maddocks (Owner of £40 a day "Withy Pool") Nuggets are a rip off of the "Rhino Pops"??? Come on we need innovation not imitation!
CLICK HERE to see what happens to your vision when you watch a motionless silver foil indicator all day!!! Aaah so that's why we use bite alarms!!! A word of warning though, this picture is pretty trippy and may have you hypnotized, so don't stair at it for to long.
CLICK HERE to see the effects of our passion for Carp on us!!! (It's very worrying!)
Young Carp supremo, Ben O'Conner seemed to take the 1999 Exiles Carp match far to seriously, when he stormed off home after he couldn't get a decent swim. I respect Ben O'Conner, But this is not how you fish matches, if you don't get a good swim you just try and make the most of the swim. Ben O'Conner obviously is to competitive for his own good, you can't win every thing you boy. Just goes to show if you are of a competitive nature you should not participate in Carpmatches. After all I thought the exiles carp match was for a bit of a laugh???
Carp Fishing Trivia tit-bit:
I'm guessing but I bet you didn't know this...Ross Brawne of Ferrari fame used to own his own fishing tackle shop. From one cut throat business to another I suppose!
Is it me or are Mike Willimots Shellfish B5 Mix, and Rod Hutchinson's MC mix slightly similar in more than one sense? I leave it up to you to decide!

Can any one out there explain to me why so many Carp anglers are so secretive about there fishing? I know it's good to have a winning rig or bait, but surely can't these people help beginners out? The number of times I have seen the more established carp anglers at my local haunts that just ignore beginners or even feed them false information is sickening! These anglers are just in Carp fishing for what they can get out of it, they make no effort to try and put anything back in. This is a bad attitude, and I feel is one of the problems that our sport has to sort out, before we have no new comers to the sport.

Well, I think this Carp stocking thing has got out of hand, maybe just a tad!!!
