This is a three-year-old Jonathan Adams men's leather jacket with zip, two outer pockets and two interior ones. It is warm, so more for cooler weather. I bought it in 2002 from Burtons, the high street store, reduced from 150 to 90 because it had clearly been worn and returned. It is a quality product with very little deterioration to show for three years' use, other than three problems which were present when I bought it:

1) The left sleeve is somewhat creased (click on the picture above) from someone rolling it back to look at their watch;

2) There is a small vertical crease down the back (see picture, left) - it doesn't really show as the leather isn't damaged, more slightly bent;

3) There was a tear in the inside lining about two inches long at the left armpit; I sewed this up with brown thread and now you have to look quite hard to see it.

All these problems are minor. The jacket came in small/medium/large/extra large; this one is 'large'. To get an idea of its size, I am 6ft 3in (1.89m), slim, and the arms are just slightly too long for me - they come over my knuckles. I estimate the arms of the jacket are up to 28 inches long (71cm).

Other features: one interior pocket is zipped; leather smells clean; no stains or other imperfections; babe magnet!

Seriously, this is a very nice jacket which would cost a tall man (and, indeed, anyone else) 150 quid new; you'll get it for much less than that, becoming the third owner of a quality, classic item which is just becoming worn in. In this way, it is likely to develop considerable character in the many years it has left.

The listing is here on eBay; I accept Nochex, Paypal and postal orders/Banker's Draft as payments. Nochex is actually better than eBay-owned Paypal for two reasons: its charges and security procedures are better for the seller (me); and the buyer (you) doesn't need a Nochex account to pay someone. Go here to see how you can pay with just a credit or debit card. There are no hidden charges for you; on both Nochex and Paypal credit card costs are only incurred by the seller.

Delivery is by first class recorded mail; sorry, it's to addresses in the UK only. I will charge 5 for this.

Listing ends Sunday 17th April 2005, 2:30pm BST - so get bidding!
