Hi Aviation fanatics all over the world,
My name is Jack (Jacques) and I am a police officer (almost retired) in Belgium and my son in law is Dirk. He is employed at Brussels airport. We are not only Herpa collectors but also "plane spotters".
We live in Mechelen, a city only 15 minutes drive away (by car) from our National Airport Brussels.
A few hours driving brings us across the border on the South side to Paris (France) and on the North side to Schiphol (Amsterdam)in the Netherlands.
We also take a short flight to London Heathrow and we can spot the planes a whole day, and be back at home in time for diner:).
Good for us that Virgin Express is based in Belgium and has cheap flights into Europe.
