Making a Complaint – Possible Answers

Scenario:  You received a bill from the university with a charge of $100 for paying your tuition late.  However, you think you paid your tuition on time.  You go to the university cashier’s office to complain.

Explaining the Purpose: 

Ø      I want to discuss a bill I just received.

Ø      I noticed a charge on my bill and I want to talk to someone about it.

Ø      I have been billed incorrectly.

 

Stating the Complaint:

Ø      The bill has a late charge, but I am sure that I paid my tuition on time.

Ø      I paid my tuition on time, but I was charged a late fee.

 

Ask for a Solution:

Ø      I would like this charge to be removed from my account.

Ø      Please check your records to see when I paid my tuition.
