Natasha Richardson News
March 16, 2001~ Blow Dry premieres in theatres. From what I have read it is not getting glowing reviews. At a mere one hour and ten minutes, plus a much delayed premiere,  I get the impression that the film has been abandoned by those involved.

Rather too bad since this is the first film for Miss Richardson since The Parent Trap. Soon to come (?) is her Reno picture. I'll see what I can find out about that.
Sept. 27, 2000-The new release day for Blow Dry is 10/27/00. This is the  Synopsis given by Yahoo! Movies: "Two beauty salons in a small English town are locked in a heated rivalry over a national hairdressing competition. On one side is an old-fashioned hairdresser with his morgue beautician son. On the other side is his ex-wife who is now a lesbian." Will Natasha be the ex-wife?

After 2 years, (since The Parent Trap), Natasha Richardson will again be gracing the Big Screen.  Here's the scoop:
From the Academy Award-nominated writer of "The Full Monty" comes an emotion-packed comedy of professional rivalry, and extravagant hairdos. When the National Hairdressing Championships desend upon a small, and unsuspecting Yorkshire town no one is prepared for the glamour, and heartache or scheming and the cheating which disrupt their lives.
Release is limited, the director is Paddy Breathnach, and Stars
Natasha Richardson, Alan Rickman, Hugh Bonneville, and Rachael Leigh Cook.
   Can't wait!
