The Arc de Triumph, one of Paris's most famous landmarks. They have one of those wierd circular intersections that goes completely around it and you have to take a little tunnel to actually get TO the monument. In the foreground are two of my friends from the trip, Roxanne Rothery and Ellen Simpson. There is a really great story about Roxanne and I waiting in the Paris train station for Ellen to get in, but I'll get to that later. |

The Catacombs under Paris. They have a miles of tunnels lined with bones. Its really creepy, and I hear that if you venture off the lighted path you can get lost for several days in all the pitch-black tunnels. |

Notre Dame Cathedral, one of Paris's other great landmarks. It has a grandeur inside and out that is impossible for me to describe, you have to see it to really understand. Below is my friend Eric doing a Quasimodo impression while we were in the bell tower. The Japanese tour group behind us freaked out. |
