1. What's new
-------------

+ Added feature to automatically play Sharp/Flat a tone. Eases composing 
  straight from staff line.
+ Added Repeat structures. Can now repeat a part, but only once.
+ Fixed few minor bugs
+ New file format. Can still open older files.

2. Basic usage
--------------

Using Sound is really easy. To add a note, just press corresponding key. 
Shift+Note plays sharp, Ctrl+Note flat.
Other basic keys:                                 (Looks like:)

.         Add dot                                 <note>.
N         Add note 0-84                           Nxx
L         Change note length                      Lxx
P         Add pause                               Pxx

4. Advanced features
--------------------

Automatic shrap/flat playing:

Press F6 for options and select S or F. Enter a note to automatically play 
sharp or flat. Quit options. Every note that is int he list of sharps will be 
played Sharp. Same with Flats.

To prevent this, press Alt with note. Sound will make a mark looking like:

C% D% E% F% G% A% B%

These notes won't be played sharp nor flat.

Repeat Structures:

To add start for repeat part, press R. To end Repeat part, press Shift+R. You
will see two marks surrounding the repeat part:

R: C D F D E :R

Repeats work recursively. This song:

C R: D F R: A B :R D :R F

Would be played:

C  D F  A B  A B  D  D F  A B  A B  D  F
   |    +Repeat+          +Repeat+  |
   +--------------Repeat------------+

Music modes:

Legato   = Lengthen notes (glide-effect)
Normal
Staccato = Shorten notes  (tick-effect)

5. Options menu
---------------

Start Octave        Octave in beginning, press O to change
Start Length        Length in beginning, press L to change
Tempo               Tempo to use, press T to change
Play Sharp:         Notes to be played sharp, give note to add/delete
Play Flat:          Notes to be played flat, give note to add/delete

Esc quits the menu.

6. Technical info
-----------------

Sound was made with Microsoft QuickBasic eXtended 7.1. It includes 409 lines
of source code. 
Readme was written with MS-DOS Edit.
