| Well, here is the much anticipated second installment chronicling my journey into Ninth Circle of western Denmark. During the second day we visited the Unholy site of the Black Cathedral at Ribe and the Thrice-Cursed Viking Museum. This was definitely the more enjoyable part of the trip. We enjoyed a good execution and ate brains stewed in human fat and blood with pita bread off the spoiled virgin that served as the black altar. If you look closely, you can see the statuettes of Beezlebub (Dark Lord of Africa) and Aristoth (Dark Lord of the New World). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| What is it about churches that so fascinates me? Perhaps its the sense of awe I feel when I look at the pulpits and I reflect that it was from these places that the Church has exerted a stranglehold on the progress of humanity. Nevermind the persecution of Darwin and Galileo or the thousands of others that were silenced throughout history. Or for that matter, the manner of conversions which hinges on condemnations and | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| intolerance of other beliefs. So much has been lost in the name of religion. As I tour the Old World and am immersed in its rich history I am saddened with the realization that this is only a fraction of what man has achieved. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Yeah, I know I should get off my own soapbox. So I will just leave you with a few quotes that I think are pretty interesting... "We have just enough religion to hate, but never enough to love." -Jonothan Swift "Even the Devil can quote scripture for his own purposes." -Abraham Lincoln Also, read 1 Samuel 20 and 2 Samuel 19, learn about the love between David and Jonothan, "your love is great, surpassing that of a woman." |

| The Viking Museum, well what can I say? It was pretty interesting and I got some cool pics. Yes it's true, Leif Erikson visited America long before Colombus. The museum itself was a little small but I think it was very well done. After our visit to the museum, we had the pleasure of a three hour bus ride back to Kobenhavn. Thus was my tour of Western Denmark. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| **Hey, I'll give two descriptions, you decide which to believe. Above: 1. Model of Ribe's marketplace at the height of the Viking Era. 2. Guam's Vision 2005 Tumon, biba Uncle Carl!! Left: 1. Dr. Laura and lover basking in the afterglow of steamy yet wholesome and (poorly interpreted) scripture approved sex. Careful doctor, you've already been busted for nudity once before. 2. Skeletal remains found and preserved from Viking Era. Below: 1. Lifesize recreation of marketplace in Ribe. 2. the hallucination most commonly seen on shrooms. |
